- directions -
this was the first year we ran this art car. i wish i had some photos of melissa and jackie on the job, because they both did a ton a work on it.
alma, james, natalie, michol, and others helped also.
jackie donated the trailer itself, a ford aerostar van that had been made into a trailer somewhat roughly.. we just built the doghouse around it. I enjoyed most of all hacking the sides of the van with an axe to put the floor joists through. the lumber came from a 1930s era house I had torn down the previous year next door to me (it was going to get knocked down anyway and I got the lumber this way).. the construction site you see in the photos was my house.
